At GenzDeal, we aim to provide a smooth and hassle-free shopping experience. This Cancellation Policy explains when and how customers can cancel an order placed on our platform.


1. Order Cancellation by Customer

Customers can request cancellation under the following conditions:

1.1 Before Order is Shipped

  • Orders can be cancelled within 6 hours of placing the order OR
    before the product is shipped, whichever is earlier.

  • If the order is cancelled within this timeframe, the full amount will be refunded.

To cancel an order, customers can:

1.2 After Order is Shipped

Once the order is shipped:

  • Cancellation is not allowed, as the package is already in transit.

  • Customers may still refuse delivery; however:

    • A shipping & handling fee will be deducted from the refund (₹50–₹200 depending on product weight).


2. Cancellation by GenzDeal

GenzDeal reserves the right to cancel an order in the following cases:

  • Product out of stock or discontinued

  • Pricing error or technical issue

  • Payment not completed or flagged for security review

  • Delivery address is unreachable/unserviceable

  • Fraudulent or suspicious orders

If GenzDeal cancels an order:

  • The customer will be notified via email/SMS immediately

  • A full refund will be issued to the original payment method


3. Refund Timelines (For Cancelled Orders)

Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed as follows:

Payment Mode Refund Time
UPI / Wallet / Credit/Debit Card 2–7 business days
Net Banking 3–7 business days
COD Orders No monetary refund (only if advanced payment Exists)

Note: Refund timelines depend on bank/payment gateway processing.


4. COD (Cash on Delivery) Orders

  • COD orders can be cancelled before shipping only.

  • If the customer refuses delivery:

    • GenzDeal may limit COD option for future orders.

    • Repeated refusal may lead to permanent suspension of COD facility.


5. Non-Cancellable Items

Certain items cannot be cancelled once the order is confirmed:

  • Hygiene-based products

  • Personal care items

  • Custom-made or personalised products

  • Limited-stock / clearance sale items

  • Orders with special bulk discounts

6. Bulk Orders Cancellation

For wholesale or bulk orders:

  • Cancellation must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order.

  • After 24 hours, cancellation may attract a restocking fee (up to 20%).

8. Important Notes

  • Orders already packed or shipped cannot be cancelled.

  • Refunds will be processed only after internal verification.

  • Any fraudulent cancellation claims may lead to account suspension.
